Dear Dentistry Students,

Welcome to the Faculty of Dentistry at Ankara Medipol University.

Dentistry is a respected profession that contributes both to general health and to providing patients with optimal jaw, facial function, and aesthetics. Our faculty commenced its education in the 2020-2021 academic year, offering both Turkish and English Dentistry Programs with a highly qualified, experienced, and dynamic faculty with a vision for both national and international platforms. Our goal is to move beyond traditional educational models, graduating our students as contemporary, technologically proficient, and well-equipped dentists who can follow innovations and embody the ethos of the profession.

In our 5-year dentistry program, our students will have the advantage of building a foundation in the Basic Medical Sciences by learning from the esteemed faculty members of our Medical School. Additionally, as prospective colleagues, they will have the opportunity to begin their clinical education at the Ankara Medipol University Faculty of Dentistry Hospitals and Clinics. Under the supervision of our academic staff, they will be involved interactively in clinical practices as observers. Another significant aspect we emphasize as academics is that clinical application training starts in the second semester of the third year and continues intensively under the direct supervision of our teaching staff for the last three years of the program.

As the academic staff of the Faculty of Dentistry at Ankara Medipol University, we are confident that with our experience, scientific foundation, physical facilities, and compact and effective education system, we will train successful dentists who are well-versed in the theoretical and practical advancements of their profession, adhere to ethical standards and professional principles, value human life, respect all living beings, love their profession, are empathetic in both social and professional life, know how to access and learn knowledge, and possess high self-confidence.
