The goal of this department is to train professional NURSES who are able to use an integrative approach and critical thinking to detect individual, familial and societal needs, who can plan, assess and execute a nursing process that is evidence based, who is a life-long learner and advancer, who can create change and display advanced leadership skills, who abides by the law and occupational ethics while fulfilling nursing education research and advisory duties and who can influence health policies for the benefit of society.
