Program’s Mission
To train health technicians to work in dialysis units; taking the patient’s dialysis machine in patients requiring dialysis treatment; to follow-up and continuation of treatment; to termination of dialysis procedures; besides the dialysis machine are maintained, to inform stages about treatment of dialysis patients and their family members.
Students take clinical practice courses in hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis units along with basic medical science and professional theoretical courses.
Upon graduating from the program, students earn an associate’s degree and the title of dialysis technician.
Students can perform their profession under the supervision of specialists in hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis units of public or private health institutions.
