PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM
Laboratory techniques are assistant health components that can perform all kinds of medical analyses requested by the physician regarding the patient in the diagnosis and treatment laboratories in health centres, as well as check the test equipment and tools, and prepare the necessary chemicals for the test. Students who complete the program are awarded an associate degree diploma and the title of laboratory technician. The aim of the program is to train students who are preferred in the public and private sectors, respected, qualified, modern and have international knowledge in their fields and will meet the needs of our country. After graduating from the associate degree program, it is possible to study in undergraduate programs with the vertical transfer exam.
Students who have successfully completed all the courses, practices and internships in the program and have received at least 120 ECTS credits in total have a right to receive a diploma. Graduation success is determined by the overall average score.
