MISSION
The mission of the Physiotherapy Program is to train well-equipped physiotherapy technicians who can perform physical therapy and rehabilitation practices at international standards to improve the quality of life in all kinds of diseases, injuries, and old age that cause movement disorders. The program aims to graduate professionals who are respectful of ethical values, solution-oriented, and capable of integrating technological developments with clinical practices.
In line with this mission, the program adopts the following as its primary objectives:
- To develop students' professional knowledge, skills, and clinical application competencies within the framework of the quality assurance system.
- To conduct educational processes with a continuous improvement (PDCA cycle) approach.
- To train technicians who are sensitive to public health and support the social participation of individuals with disabilities.
- To provide evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and lifelong learning skills.
- To strengthen the roles of graduates within the rehabilitation team and increase their employability.
VISION
The vision of the Physiotherapy Program is to be a leading associate degree program that is shown as an example at the national level in terms of quality, modern laboratory infrastructure, and clinical success of its graduates; to closely follow international developments and integrate them into the curriculum, and to pioneer application-oriented education by establishing strong collaborations with the sector (hospitals, rehabilitation centers, etc.).
In line with this vision, the program aims to maintain an educational approach that:
- Adopts continuous improvement and academic excellence.
- Effectively reflects stakeholder feedback into clinical education processes.
- Is preferred for the ethical stance and "human-oriented" service approach of its graduates.
- Effectively utilizes innovative technologies such as digital health and robotic rehabilitation in education.
