Message from the Head of Department 

 As the Department of Pharmaceutical Professional Sciences, our primary goal is to train highly competent pharmacists who are grounded in scientific knowledge, committed to ethical values, and who prioritize patient and public health. In line with the rapid change and development in the field of health, one of our foremost objectives is to equip our students not only with theoretical knowledge but also with practical skills. 

 The education and training activities in our department are carried out with a holistic approach encompassing disciplines such as pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical toxicology and pharmaceutical botany. Throughout this process, our students are encouraged to develop their critical thinking, problem-solving and scientific research skills. 

 In addition, we aim to increase academic productivity through research conducted at national and international levels, to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, and to put the knowledge gained into practice in ways that contribute to healthcare services. 

 We are resolutely continuing our work in line with our mission to train pharmacists who have a strong sense of professional responsibility, embrace lifelong learning and add value to society.
