The 3-Day Intensive Training and Orientation Program Organized by the School of Foreign Languages Has Been Completed

The program addressed academic processes, assessment practices and standardization efforts. Comprehensive sessions were held on the duties and responsibilities of the Professional Development Unit, the Testing Unit and the Materials Development Unit, as well as on teacher observation processes.

As part of continuous professional development, our guest trainers Dr. Hakan Tarhan and Melis Akdoğan covered key topics related to classroom practice, including giving effective instructions, using ICQs & CCQs, error correction, peer & self-feedback, Feed Forward and Action Planning.

Ahead of the new academic year, the program strengthened team spirit, fostered a shared understanding and approach, and brought the entire academic staff together around common goals.
