Message from the Head of Department

Dear Students,

Welcome to the Department of Psychology at Ankara Medipol University.

As the Department of Psychology at Ankara Medipol University, we highlight the importance of how human behavior and mental processes are being transformed by digital technology in a rapidly digitalizing world. Our aim is to prepare you to meet life fully equipped, keeping pace with current developments and helping you acquire the academic skills you will need to adapt to this constantly changing and evolving world. Our competent, well-qualified, dynamic and approachable academic staff, who teach in our programs offered in both English and Turkish, will be pleased to take an active role in your learning process and to provide the support and guidance you need. Through the graduate education opportunities we offer, we will also strive to guide you in your future academic career.

In addition to teaching the science of psychology, our department is committed to preparing students for their future academic and professional lives through programs that are blended with the skills of the modern age, that foster strong critical thinking, creative thinking and problem-solving skills, that uphold ethical principles, and that support continuous development. To this end, the courses in our department have been designed in light of these principles to help you develop your academic skills.
