Message from the Head of Department

Dear Students,

Welcome to the Department of International Trade and Finance at Ankara Medipol University.

The objective of our department is to cultivate you into dynamic managers, budding entrepreneurs, and well-equipped professionals capable of competing on a global scale within the ever-evolving fields of foreign trade and finance. Recognizing that success in today’s business world is measured not merely by financial returns or job titles, but also by the value contributed to society and the environment, we have placed ethical values—essential for making the world a more livable place—along with the principles of a circular economy and sustainable finance, at the core of our educational philosophy.

With a faculty of experienced academics who have spent many years working in foreign trade and finance across both the private and public sectors, our goal is to ensure you begin your professional journey—in a highly competitive, technology-driven environment—with a distinct advantage. Through our programs—offered in either Turkish or English—we provide opportunities for learning a second foreign language, pursuing a double major or minor in other departments, and completing summer internships, all with the aim of ensuring you graduate with a comprehensive and enriching academic experience.
