Message from the Head of Department

Dear Students and Prospective Candidates,

Welcome to the Department of Management Information Systems.

In today’s world, not only accessing information but also analyzing it accurately, integrating it into management processes, and using technology effectively have become critically important. With its interdisciplinary structure that brings together management science and information technologies, our department aims to educate individuals who can think analytically, solve problems, adhere to ethical values, and develop innovative solutions.

The education offered in our department is based on a contemporary and practice-oriented curriculum covering information systems, software, data management, business analytics, decision support systems, and management processes. While our students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, they also have the opportunity to develop themselves in areas of interest through elective courses. In addition, through the double major and minor programs we offer, our students have the opportunity to graduate from different departments within the university.

As the Department of Management Information Systems, our priority is to educate our students not only academically but also as strong individuals in professional, social, and ethical aspects. In line with our student-centered education approach, we aim to provide an academic environment where each student can realize their potential, improve themselves, and confidently prepare for the future.

Our academic staff closely follows developments in the field and guides our students throughout their career journeys, supporting their development through practical studies, industry engagement, and various academic activities. We value that our graduates take their place in professional life as competent individuals who contribute to the digital transformation processes of organizations and can effectively integrate technology with management.

By choosing our department, you will not only enroll in an undergraduate program but also step into a strong developmental environment where you will be prepared for the future of the business world.

I wish you all a successful, productive, and fulfilling academic life.

Sincerely,
