The graduation requirements of the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department are determined in accordance with the provisions of the Ankara Medipol University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations, as well as the relevant Department legislation. The undergraduate program in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design features a curriculum structure comprising a total of 240 ECTS credits, distributed across 8 semesters with a workload of 30 ECTS per semester. The backbone of the program is built around compulsory courses that continue uninterrupted from the first to the eighth semester; this framework is conducted as 'Basic Design' in the first and second semesters, and as 'Design Studio' courses between the third and eighth semesters. Compulsory courses providing the theoretical, technical (construction, materials, lighting, detailing), and historical/cultural (history of architecture and art, history of furniture) foundations inherently support this studio framework. In accordance with the student-centered education vision and the requirements of the Bologna process, 25% of the curriculum (a total of 60 ECTS) consists of elective courses. To enable students to integrate their theoretical and studio education with practical experience, there is a compulsory internship of 40 working days in total, comprising construction site and office practices, conducted during the summer terms of the 2nd and 3rd years. The curriculum culminates in the 8th semester with the 'Interior Architecture Graduation Project' (Diploma Project), wherein the student independently synthesizes their comprehensive professional and academic knowledge.Önceki Öğrenimin Tanınması
