The absolute grading system is used in the calculation of the students' grades. Whether the student would be considered successful in the course is determined by the student's course success grade. Success in a course is determined by the course success grade. Course success grade is obtained by evaluating the student's success during the semester (midterm exams, assignments, applied studies, etc.) and the general exam together. Success grade is calculated by taking %40 of the midterm and 60% of the final exam. Senate can make changes in the impact rate of midterm and final exams on success grade. In this situation, the general exam's impact rate on the success grade of the course would be at least 50 percent and at most 70 percent. At the beginning of the semester, the instructor in charge of the course announces the application plan to the students and the minimum score students must achieve in the general examination in order to be considered successful and how much the students' progress during the semester and the general exam affect the success grade of the course. Students who do not take the general exam are deemed unsuccessful in that course. Raw scores obtained from the examinations are converted into grades on the 100-point scale and the general success grade is provided by adapting to the grading system in the 37th article of the Ankara Medipol University Associate Degree, Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulation. Exam grades are announced on the website of the university. The Senate decides the principles regarding the calculation of the course success grade.Bölüm/Program Başkanı
