Robotics and Artificial Intelligence
MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF DEPARTMENT
Dear Prospective Students,
Today, artificial intelligence and robotic systems are actively used in a wide range of fields, from industry to healthcare and from automotive to agriculture. As the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Program, our primary goal is to train well-equipped technical personnel who not only understand the theory behind this transformation but also meet the needs of the sector in the field, on the factory floor and in the laboratory.
Our program offers a versatile curriculum that brings hardware and software together. Throughout their studies, our students gain knowledge and skills in areas such as basic electronics, circuit analysis and the mechanical structures of robotic systems, while also developing algorithmic thinking and problem-solving competencies through programming languages such as C and Python.
We have designed our two-year program so that students can develop their professional knowledge and skills directly in a practical setting. To this end, starting from the Fall semester of the 2026-2027 Academic Year, we are introducing the 3+1 education model. After completing theoretical and practical courses as well as laboratory work on campus during their first three semesters, our students will spend their final semester in companies, receiving full-time workplace training. In this way, they will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired at school in a real working environment while experiencing first-hand how the sector operates. This process will enable our students to build strong ties with the sector before graduation and to begin their careers not merely as graduates with theoretical knowledge, but as qualified technician candidates with field experience and familiarity with the working environment.
We know that choosing a university is an important and challenging process, and that one of the most pressing questions on your mind is “What will I do after graduation?” Our goal as a program is not simply to award you a diploma, but to ensure that upon graduation you become a sought-after technician who can work with automation systems, program robotic hardware, use artificial intelligence applications and take part in software development processes.
We are here to guide all young people who are curious about technology and are not afraid to work with hardware and write code.
I wish every success to all the students who will join us in the new term. Welcome to our department.
