Computer Engineering (English, with Thesis)
Since the Industrial Revolution, many of the major changes and advances across numerous fields have been made possible by electronics, computer and communication technologies, and this transformation continues today. There is hardly any field that is unrelated to computers or untouched by their influence. Many developed and developing countries are engaged in an intense race to develop and use computer and information technologies. Türkiye’s ability to take its rightful place in a globalized world depends on building expertise in information and communication technologies, in short, information technologies. Becoming an influential country in information technologies requires increasing the number of experts in this field and conducting research and development (R&D) of international standing.
As an institution, Ankara Medipol University believes that an R&D culture should extend to every field and that graduate education is key to increasing students’ scientific and engineering research productivity at the university.
The aim of the Ankara Medipol University Master’s Program in Computer Engineering (with Thesis) is to increase research activity in Computer Engineering and to train experts, researchers and academics in this field. Students who graduate from our graduate programs will become the researchers of the future, pioneers of the latest knowledge and innovative ideas, and mentors and educators of future generations. We believe that our graduates will make a significant contribution to the advancement of scientific, engineering and emerging technology research and applications, and to the development of human resources, at our university, in our country and worldwide. The graduate program in Computer Engineering places particular emphasis on highly topical areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, intelligent systems and robotics.
