Mission and Vision

MISSION

The mission of the Dental Prosthesis Technology (English) Program is to train qualified dental prosthesis technicians who receive an education in line with national and international standards in the field of oral and dental health, integrate scientific knowledge with practice, are proficient in digital dentistry and modern prosthetic technologies, adhere to the principles of professional ethics, and prioritize quality and patient safety.

In line with this mission, the program aims to:

• Develop students' professional knowledge, skills and practical competencies within the framework of the quality assurance system;

• Conduct education and training processes with a continuous improvement approach (PDCA cycle);

• Offer education aligned with digital manufacturing technologies (CAD/CAM, 3D printers, etc.);

• Train individuals with analytical thinking skills who are responsive to the needs of the sector, stakeholders and society;

• Equip graduates with the professional and technical competencies that will enhance their employability. 

These are adopted as the program's fundamental objectives.

VISION

The vision of the Dental Prosthesis Technology (English) Program is to be a pioneering program in practice-oriented education among associate degree programs in dental prosthesis technologies and digital dentistry; one that is recognized nationally as a model in terms of quality assurance, education and training processes and graduate competencies, closely follows international developments and integrates them into its curriculum, and builds strong collaborations with the sector.

In line with this vision, the program aims to maintain an educational approach that:

• Embraces a continuous improvement approach;

• Effectively reflects stakeholder feedback in its educational processes;

• Makes its graduates preferred in the sector for their professional competence and ethical stance;

• Effectively uses digital manufacturing technologies and innovative teaching methods.
