Our Technology Transfer Office Director Mert Çeliksoy Becomes Türkiye’s Youngest RTTP-Certified Technology Transfer Professional!

Awarded by the Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals, which continues its work with the mission of promoting and maintaining global standards in knowledge and technology transfer, the RTTP designation is an international standard of professional competence and experience for knowledge transfer and commercialization practitioners working in universities, industry and the public sector. The designation is granted to individuals whose technology transfer work and achievements are reviewed and found to meet the standard across many different dimensions, such as intellectual property rights management and transfer, innovative collaboration models and commercialization. While there are more than 600 RTTP-certified technology transfer professionals worldwide, 38 of them are based in Türkiye. In Ankara, the Technology Transfer Office directors of only two universities hold this designation. Ankara Medipol University has become the third university in Ankara whose Technology Transfer Office director holds the RTTP designation. We congratulate our Technology Transfer Office Director Mert Çeliksoy, RTTP, Türkiye’s youngest RTTP-certified technology transfer professional, who received his RTTP Certificate from USİMP Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. A. Hamit Serbest, RTTP at the National Patent Fair and National Congress on University-Industry Cooperation organized by USİMP at the METU Culture and Convention Center, and wish him continued success.
