Vocational School of Health Services Unit Advisory Board Meeting Held

The Ankara Medipol University Vocational School of Health Services Unit Advisory Board Meeting was held on 21 September 2026 in the Senate Hall of the Museum Building (Block C).

The meeting, chaired by Assist. Prof. Korhan ÖZTURAN, Director of the Vocational School of Health Services and Chair of the Unit Advisory Board, was attended by the school's internal and external stakeholders.

Internal stakeholders attending the meeting included Assist. Prof. Zehra BAŞAYAR, Assist. Prof. Rahşan KARAÇAL, Lect. Tuğba ÇEVİK, Lect. Muammer ÇEVİK and Lect. Semiha ERKOCA. External stakeholders were Ramazan ÖZER, President of the Ankara Chamber of Opticians; Prof. Dr. Perihan OYAR from the Dental Prosthesis Technology Program at Hacettepe University; and Assoc. Prof. Cihan DÖGER from Bilkent City Hospital.

At the opening of the meeting, external stakeholders were briefed on the academic and administrative structure of the Vocational School of Health Services and its ongoing activities. This was followed by an evaluation of the university's website, vocational training carried out in workplaces, the university's physical facilities and feedback received from graduates.

During the discussions, stakeholders' views and suggestions for improving education and training processes were addressed, and ways to enhance communication and cooperation between the school and its external stakeholders were evaluated.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to hold regular meetings to strengthen communication and cooperation between the internal and external stakeholders of the Vocational School of Health Services, and to take stakeholder views into account in education and training processes.

The Unit Advisory Board Meeting concluded after the participants shared their views and suggestions.
