Social Psychology (with Thesis)

The Social Psychology Master's Program with Thesis at the Ankara Medipol University Graduate School of Social Sciences is a graduate program that examines, through scientific methods and approaches, how individuals' emotions, thoughts and behaviors are shaped within a social context. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practice-oriented content, the program aims to enable students to gain in-depth knowledge in core areas such as social cognition, group dynamics, attitudes and social behavior, and to develop their research skills. Throughout this process, students are expected to deepen the knowledge and skills they acquire through their master's thesis and are encouraged to contribute to the production of scientific knowledge.

The program is structured to offer students theoretical knowledge and practice-oriented skills in social psychology within a holistic framework. Accordingly, after completing the core courses, students will go through a training process in which they can specialize in particular topics in line with their interests. Within this framework, graduates are expected to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to take on research and practice-oriented roles in a variety of fields, including academia, public institutions, the private sector and non-governmental organizations, and to have the potential to conduct research that contributes to the relevant international literature.
