Message from the Head of Department

 Dear Students and Prospective Students,

Welcome to the Department of Management Information Systems.

Today, analyzing information accurately, integrating it into management processes and using technology effectively are just as important as accessing information. With its interdisciplinary structure bringing together management science and information technologies, our department aims to educate individuals who think analytically, solve problems, uphold ethical values and embrace innovation.

Our department offers an up-to-date, practice-oriented curriculum covering information systems, software, data management, business analytics, decision support systems and management processes. While our students learn theory and practice together, elective courses give them the opportunity to develop themselves in the areas that interest them. In addition, the double major and minor programs we offer allow our students to also graduate from other departments within the university.

As the Department of Management Information Systems, our priority is to raise our students as strong individuals not only academically, but also professionally, socially and ethically. In line with our student-centered approach to education, we aim to provide an academic environment in which every student can realize their potential, develop themselves and prepare for the future with confidence.

Our academic staff, who closely follow developments in the field, guide our students on their career journeys and support their growth through applied work, industry engagement and a variety of academic activities. We place great importance on our graduates entering professional life as competent individuals who can combine technology and management and contribute to the digital transformation of organizations.

By choosing our department, you will be taking a step not only into an undergraduate program, but also into a strong developmental environment that will prepare you for the business world of the future.

I wish you all a successful, productive and enjoyable academic life.

Kind regards,
