The Secret Inside the Tube: A Biochemistry Specialist's Laboratory Experience

On behalf of the Medical Laboratory Techniques Program,

the event titled "The Secret Inside the Tube: A Biochemistry Specialist's Laboratory Experience" was held on 19.12.2025 at our Anafartalar campus by the Board of the Medical Laboratory Techniques Club together with the club's advisor, Lect. Cansel ÇAKIR.

It was a great honor for us to host Biochemistry Specialist Dr. Sedat ÖZDEMİR, known for his expertise and valuable contributions to the field, who kindly accepted our invitation to share his knowledge and experience with us. The talk covered topics such as the operation of clinical laboratories, problems encountered in the laboratory setting, common errors, quality management and laboratory discipline. Dr. Sedat ÖZDEMİR shared examples from his professional experience, providing our students with valuable insights into practice in the field.

We extend our sincere thanks to Assist. Prof. Korhan ÖZTURAN, Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, and Lect. Muammer ÇEVİK, Deputy Director, for honoring our event with their attendance.
