Dental Technicians' Day: "A Journey from Education to Profession" Themed Event

Dental Technicians' Day Celebrated with an Event Themed "A Journey from Education to Profession" The Dental Prosthesis Technology Program of the Department of Dental Services at Ankara Medipol University Vocational School of Health Services organized an event themed "A Journey from Education to Profession" as part of Dental Technicians' Day. Held for the first time at our University, the event brought together senior members of the profession, dental technicians, dentists from our University's Faculty of Dentistry, alumni and students. The event aimed to raise students' professional awareness by addressing the aspects of dental prosthesis technology that require dedication, craftsmanship and experience. The speakers shared their insights on the profession's fields of practice, working conditions and professional development processes, while alumni presented a variety of career examples by sharing their educational experiences and post-graduation career journeys. The program concluded with a musical performance by a band made up of Dental Prosthesis Technology Program students. Certificates of appreciation were presented to Dental Technician Hakan Özçelik, Dental Technician Can Hannutoğlu and Prosthodontist Oğuz Aydoğdu, DDS, from our University's Faculty of Dentistry, for their presentations, as well as to our alumni.
