Ankara Medipol University Faculty of Communication Hosted a Conference on the "TRT Communicators of the Future Competition"

Ankara Medipol University Faculty of Communication hosted a conference on the theme of the "TRT Communicators of the Future Competition" on 14 May. Coordinated by the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Communication, the conference featured a presentation by Nurten Erdem, Project Coordinator at the Department of Training and Research of the TRT Directorate General.
Nurten Erdem outlined the history and purpose of the competition and gave participants detailed information about the competition categories and application requirements. Noting that all the necessary information can be found on the competition's official website, Erdem emphasized that the purpose of her visit to the Faculty of Communication was to answer students' questions. She also explained that students may apply with up to five different projects in a single category, and that applications are open to students under the age of 30 who are enrolled during the 2023-2024 academic year.
Erdem drew attention to common mistakes made in applications and clarified points that participants often misunderstand. Answering participants' questions after the presentation, Erdem stressed that TRT places great importance on impartiality and, for this reason, does not include academics from any university on the jury.
The competition stands out as a platform for discovering and encouraging young talent in the field of communication. Through their projects, participants have the opportunity both to showcase their communication skills and to build connections with the industry.
