Our Rector Attended the Opening of the Dikmen TechBridge Technology and Innovation Center

Aiming to support the IT sector, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality seeks to encourage young entrepreneurs by opening technology start-up centers in different parts of the capital. Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who places importance on public participation in city governance, met with rectors and university representatives in the capital to draw up a roadmap for these centers, which will also make significant contributions to Ankara's industry, and the Dikmen TechBridge Technology and Innovation Center was officially opened. Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Zeki ŞENGİL, and our Technology Transfer Office (TTO) Director, Mert ÇELİKSOY, attended the opening.

Our Rector said: “Today, accessing information is very easy. However, it is crucial that our young people and academics who possess this knowledge transform it into products and patents and commercialize it. As a university, we invest in and support knowledge and skills that have commercial potential. However, we struggle to find spaces where this knowledge and these skills can be commercialized. This initiative by the municipality will serve as an incubation center, especially for young universities such as Ankara Medipol University, as well as for our students and faculty members. As Ankara Medipol University, we will explore the contributions we can make.”
