Prof. Dr. Nevin Şanlıer Named on the World's Most Influential Scientists List Based on Research Conducted by Stanford University

Prof. Dr. Nevin Şanlıer, Vice Rector of Ankara Medipol University and faculty member of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Faculty of Health Sciences, has been named on the World's Most Influential Scientists List based on research conducted by Stanford University.

In the research conducted by Stanford University, which examined the scientific output of approximately 7 million researchers working in various subdisciplines with at least 5 articles published in the Elsevier database, scientists ranking in the top 2% based on the 2021 citation year were included in the “World Top 2% Scientists” list. Prepared by Prof. Dr. John P. A. Loannidis and his research team, the list covers scientists across 22 scientific fields and 176 subfields and takes into account indicators such as “number of qualified publications”, “citations to publications”, “h-index” and “hm-index”. The list was prepared in two categories: "career-long impact" and "single-year impact".
