World Intellectual Property Day and Award Ceremony Held!

On World Intellectual Property Day, the World Intellectual Property Day and Award Ceremony was held on Wednesday, 10 May, with the participation of Ankara Medipol University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Zeki ŞENGİL, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nevin ŞANLIER, and our esteemed academics and students. The event aimed to honour our academics and students who have made progress and are active in the fields of innovation and creativity, to draw attention to the importance of intellectual property rights, and to share information on developments in this field.

Our students and academics were presented with awards in recognition of their performance, effort and dedication in the processes related to various inventions, both nationwide and within our university.

Intellectual and industrial property rights refer to the rights that a person or organisation holds over their creative ideas, inventions or designs. By encouraging creativity and innovation, these rights contribute to economic growth and social development. Through this event, the Ankara Medipol University Technology Transfer Office highlighted the importance of protecting intellectual and industrial property rights.
