The Other Side of Pink: Breast Cancer Awareness Symposium

The Department of Nursing at the Ankara Medipol University Faculty of Health Sciences held the “The Other Side of Pink: Breast Cancer Awareness Symposium” online. With the aim of raising breast cancer awareness among the public and our students, the symposium addressed the importance of early diagnosis in breast cancer, screening methods and risk factors, as well as coping with a cancer diagnosis and spiritual care. A video on breast self-examination prepared by the Department of Nursing was also shown.
