Institutional Cooperation Protocol in the Field of Human Rights

On 25 January 2024, our University and the Human Rights and Equality Institution of Türkiye (TİHEK) signed the “Institutional Cooperation Protocol in the Field of Human Rights.”

The protocol was drawn up with the aims of sharing experience, information, documents, materials and literature for the protection and promotion of human rights and freedoms and the prevention of discrimination and ill-treatment; contributing to the development of the relevant legislation; carrying out projects and events that raise awareness of “human rights” in line with the shared core values and expectations of both institutions; and contributing to the building of a society that shows care and sensitivity in respecting human rights.

Within this scope, in addition to all necessary activities, “Human Rights Certificate Programs” will be organized for our students, internship opportunities will be offered at TİHEK, student club initiatives on the protection of human rights and freedoms will be supported, and joint projects will be carried out at the national and international levels.
