Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing Breast Cancer Awareness Month “Early Diagnosis, Strong Life” Events

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October 1–31), the Department of Nursing at Ankara Medipol University's Faculty of Health Sciences organized a variety of events at our university under the slogan “Early Diagnosis, Strong Life.” Awareness training sessions on breast cancer prevention and breast self-examination were delivered both online and face to face, in Turkish and English. The sessions for our academic, administrative and support services staff were led by the Department of Nursing faculty members, while the sessions for students were led by our nursing students using the peer education method. In addition, our Department of Nursing students set up an awareness stand on the main campus to inform participants. We would like to thank all of our faculty members and students who contributed to raising this important awareness.
