SPECIAL EVENT BY THE OPTICIANRY CLUB FOR OPTICIANS' AND EYEWEAR SPECIALISTS' DAY

On 1 June 2026, at a stand set up at the entrance of Block B on the Main Campus, Opticianry Program students and members of the Opticianry Club offered eyeglass care, cleaning, adjustment and minor repair services to academic and administrative staff and students on campus. During the event, screws were tightened, nose pads were replaced and adjusted, frames were straightened and professional cleaning was carried out, helping participants wear their glasses more comfortably and safely. The event, which attracted great interest throughout the day, also aimed to raise awareness of eye health and the proper use of eyeglasses. While Opticianry students had the opportunity to put their professional knowledge and skills into practice, they also carried out a socially responsible initiative that contributed to campus life. Organized by the Ankara Medipol University Opticianry Club, the event concluded with high participant satisfaction and strong interest. Through events like this, we aim to highlight the importance of the opticianry profession and support students in gaining hands-on experience.
