Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing Breast Cancer Awareness Month “Early Diagnosis, Strong Life” Events

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (1–31 October), the Department of Nursing of the Ankara Medipol University Faculty of Health Sciences organized a series of events at our university under the slogan “Early Diagnosis, Strong Life.” Awareness training on breast cancer prevention and breast self-examination was delivered both online and face-to-face, in Turkish and English sessions, to our academic, administrative and support staff by the faculty members of the Department of Nursing, and to our students by their fellow students using the peer education method. In addition, our Nursing students set up an awareness stand on the main campus to inform participants. We would like to thank all our faculty members and students who contributed to this important awareness initiative.
