Prof. Dr. Nevin Şanlıer Speaks at the 3rd BESVAK Prof. Dr. Ayşe Baysal Nutrition Days “Probiotics by Clinical Condition Symposium”

The 3rd BESVAK Prof. Dr. Ayşe Baysal Nutrition Days Symposium, organized for the third time this year by the Prof. Dr. Ayşe Baysal Nutrition, Education and Research Foundation (BESVAK) and focusing this year on “Probiotics by Clinical Condition,” was held on 28-29 September 2019 at Zorlu PSM, Istanbul.

Speaking at the symposium, Prof. Dr. Nevin Şanlıer, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ankara Medipol University, gave a presentation titled “The Effects of Micronutrients on the Microbiota,” in which she addressed the gastrointestinal microbiota, microbiota metabolites, and their interactions with water-soluble vitamins, fat-soluble vitamins  and minerals.
