Ankara Medipol University Receives Its First Patent as Rights Holder!

Ankara Medipol University's patent application titled “PRONE POSITION CHANGE APPARATUS” has been approved by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, becoming the first patent obtained by our university as the rights holder.

The invention, developed by faculty members of the Department of Nursing at the Ankara Medipol University Faculty of Health Sciences Assist. Prof. Emine Bayrak Aykan, Assist. Prof. Bediye Öztaş, Assist. Prof. Nursemin Ünal, our student Yaren Karaaslan and Res. Asst. Demet Bal of the Department of Nursing at the Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Health Sciences, was approved by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office under the code TR 2021 019707 B following a patent application filed through the Ankara Medipol University Technology Transfer Office.
