Training Coordinator: Prof. Dr. Fulya İlçin Gönenç, Mediator Program Coordinator: Lecturer Zekeriye Çelik With the spread of mandatory pre-litigation mediation in Türkiye, the need has arisen to define areas of specialization according to the type of dispute in order to further develop mediation. Article 6 of the Law No. 6325 on Mediation in Civil Disputes grants the Department of Mediation the authority to determine the areas of specialization in mediation and the procedures and principles governing specialization. Within the framework of this authority, Health Law has been designated as a special area of specialization, and the procedures and principles for specialist mediation training in Health Law have been established by the Department of Mediation. Ankara Medipol University has obtained authorization to provide specialist mediation training in health law through the letter of the Department of Mediation of the Directorate General of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Türkiye, numbered E.73590746-020-8/-17 and dated 08.01.2021, on Special Specialization Training in Health Law, and has been entered in the registry of training institutions. In accordance with the curriculum and course hours set by the Department of Mediation, the training consists of three modules: theoretical training, practical training and representation of parties. The specialization training will be delivered ONLINE via the Arasis.net Panel.
