Mission and Vision

The mission of the Institute of Health Sciences is to conduct graduate education, research and practice in the field of health sciences in line with universal scientific and ethical principles, to increase knowledge production by encouraging an interdisciplinary approach, and to ensure that the knowledge produced is transferred to society.

Our Institute aims to educate innovative and entrepreneurial individuals who are capable of scientific reasoning, think analytically and critically, embrace a culture of research and are committed to ethical values. To this end, one of our core duties is to provide a high-quality academic environment in which students can develop their skills in scientific research, problem solving and independent work.

Furthermore, the core responsibilities of our Institute include strengthening university–public–private sector collaboration to help translate scientific work in the field of health into practice, encouraging scientific output at national and international levels, and educating researchers who can develop solutions to society's needs in the field of health sciences.

In this context, our Institute aims to be a center of science that supports knowledge production in the field of health sciences, encourages academic development and contributes to improving the quality of healthcare services through scientific research, education and community engagement.

Graduate education is the process of equipping students with sufficient knowledge to acquire the ability to establish cause-and-effect relationships and solve problems through scientific reasoning and analytical thinking using inductive and deductive methods. Human resources are the key element in accelerating social development and sustaining it at a high level. Our main objective in graduate education is to provide our students with scientific, technological and intellectual training so that they can access today's constantly changing and evolving contemporary knowledge and make original contributions to research carried out around the world.

The vision of the Institute of Health Sciences is to be a nationally and internationally respected institute that leads scientific research enhancing our country's competitiveness, embraces innovative and sustainable development as its priority goals, and educates highly qualified professionals and researchers for society.
