Medical Microbiology Master's Program (with Thesis)
The primary aim of the Medical Microbiology Master's Program is to train specialists who are equipped with universal knowledge and skills in microbiology and who can integrate scientific and technological advances with clinical practice. Our program aims not only to help students become proficient in classical microbiological methods, but also to give them in-depth knowledge of interdisciplinary fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics and Molecular Microbiology, which are essential to modern medicine today.
Our educational process equips students with the ability to analyze data obtained from clinical and scientific studies, to apply biorisk management to the highest standards and to develop innovative solutions to professional problems. Covering a broad spectrum from basic immunology to virology and from pharmaceutical microbiology to advanced diagnostic techniques, our curriculum prepares our graduates to take on academic leadership roles at national and international levels.
The first year of the program is devoted to building a research foundation through comprehensive theoretical courses and laboratory practice, while the second year focuses on planning and conducting an original scientific thesis. Graduates who successfully complete the program are awarded a Master's Degree in Medical Microbiology and may pursue careers in academia, diagnostic laboratories or the biotechnology sector, or advance their academic journey by applying for doctoral studies in related fields.
