Intellectual and Industrial Property Board

Ensuring that scientific knowledge serves the development of technology, and transferring that technology to industry, are among the top priorities of modern universities.

Ankara Medipol University has made it its mission to collaborate with industry across all of its academic disciplines, with health technologies foremost among them, and to contribute to our country's scientific and technological capacity.

Within this framework, inventions and designs developed at our university are evaluated and registered in accordance with the university's Directive on the Management of Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights. The transfer of registered inventions and designs to industry, and the sharing of the resulting revenue with inventors and designers, are also carried out under the same directive. All of these processes are managed by the Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights Licensing Office (FSMHLO) within the Technology Transfer Office (TTO).

Under the Directive on the Management of Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights, the Ankara Medipol University Intellectual and Industrial Property Board (FSMK) is responsible for all evaluations concerning the registration and commercialization of inventions and designs.
